About Us
Willow Creek is an established traditional coven of the Old Religion. We meet near Temecula, CA. We are a private adult coven (18 years and older) and meet in secret, so we take the oath of secrecy very seriously.
The Old Religion is a matriarchal system with a lineage defined through the High Priestesses who are the oracles keeping the tradition alive, however both the female and male aspects of the religion and their importance to the religion as a whole are equally acknowledged.
Our beliefs are taught as in the day of old. Our beliefs and practices aren't watered down, but practiced in it's fullest potential without making it acceptable to anyone.
We worship the Goddess and her consort. Our Book of Shadows is extensive, but does not stand alone. In order to understand the use of it's pages, one must be trained in our practices.
After initiation, the oral tradition is added. Without the combination of the Book of Shadows and the oral tradidtion, the Book of Shadows would be of little use to the untutored eye.
Classes
Willow Creek provide classes for those who desire to see if Willow Creek Coven is a path they wish to explore further.
A Meet and Greet is scheduled for those Interested. This provides you a chance to ask any questions you may have about the classes or the Coven.
The first year consist of 13 lessons. Throughout these lessons our beliefs are shared. Those students who wish to continue need to request initiation into the Inner Circle of the Coven.

Meet & Greet Dates:
For those interested, go to The Path To Enlightenment page. In the Willow Creek Meet & Greet section under Meet & Greet Dates you can see the available Meet & Greet date(s). Next, email Willow Creek Coven the date you are interested in attending. Willow Creek Coven will send you a confirmation email. Willow Creek Coven will send a second email a week or so prior to the Meet & Greet confirming your selected date and desire to attend. Upon Confirmation the location and time will be sent.
Inner Circle
Once you are initiated to the inner circle you education continues as follows:
1st Year: You participate in our rites within the inner circle. All Moons, Sabats, Equinoxes, and other rituals are honored. Knowledge and wisdom are gained through practice, experience, and worship.
To elevate to 2nd Year, 1st Years must have taken Usui Holy Fire III Reiki 1 & 11 from Queen Priestess Athenus who is a Usui Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki Master. This is so that all members have the same consistent training. Class dates are posted in The Path To Enlightenment. These classes are available to anyone.
2nd Year: Leading our rites throughout the year, assisting the teaching of the first year, and preparing to fulfill all duties of High Priests or Priestesses within the tradition.
To elevate to 3rd Year, 2nd Years much have taken Usui Holy Fire III Reiki Advance/Master from Queen Priestess Athenus. Class dates are posted in The Path To Enlightenment. These classes are available to anyone.
3rd Year: You will learn and participate in higher learning and magic, which is exclusive to 3rd degrees and higher.
4th Year: This is for those who wish to continue the tradition of old by acquiring higher knowledge. Once this has been accomplished, only then will you be ready to hive and be acknowledged as an autonomous Coven with the Order. You must show the ability to communicate the oral teaching to continue the tradition as it always has been and shall be before this acknowledgement will be granted.
Freedom of Choice
The student may choose another path at any time. The only commitment on behalf of the student is that they keep the secrets shared and return all materials granted them during training. Those who complete the training and elevate to High Priest or High Priestess are granted all materials and secrets as their own to teach, read, and recite for they have earned them through their study of the Order.
